House of
Mazeltov
Queer Jewish Art Collective · Berlin · Since 2011
Drag, opera, music, performance, and radical hospitality at the intersection of queer culture and Jewish tradition.

House of Mazeltov is a Berlin-based interdisciplinary performance collective working at the intersection of queer culture, Jewish tradition, music, and radical hospitality. For over 15 years, the collective has created immersive performances, site-specific work, ritual-format reinterpretations, and politically engaged ensemble theatre across Germany and Europe.
Founded and led by Shlomi Moto Wagner — performer, opera singer, songwriter, actor, director, and drag queen performing as Mazy Mazeltov — the collective brings together a diverse ensemble of artists who share a commitment to making queer Jewish art visible, joyful, and unapologetically present.
In a time of rising antisemitism and the increasing boycott of Jewish artists in Berlin's cultural scene, House of Mazeltov stands for visibility, empowerment, and cultural survival.

Fifteen years of queer Jewish art making space where none was given.
Since October 7, 2023, queer Jewish artists in Berlin have faced unprecedented exclusion — boycotts, cancellations, and erasure from the spaces we helped build. House of Mazeltov is our answer: we create the stages that welcome us. We are here. We are loud. We are not going anywhere.
Shlomi Moto Wagner is a Berlin-based interdisciplinary performance artist, opera singer, songwriter, actor, director, and drag queen. As Mazy Mazeltov, they have performed across Europe's stages — from opera houses to underground clubs, from immersive audio walks to site-specific ritual performances.
Their work spans original compositions, immersive audio experiences, politically engaged theatre, and the theatrical reinterpretation of Jewish ritual formats.

House of Mazeltov collaborates with an extraordinary network of artists across disciplines.
